• CCGPS Coordinate Analytic Geometry or Accelerated CCPGS Analytic Geometry B/ Advanced Algebra
• CCGPS Coordinate Advanced Algebra or Accelerated CCGPS Coordinate Pre-Calculus
• CCGPS Coordinate Pre-Calculus or additional core units from approved Georgia DOE list of GPS/AP/IB designated courses

Hope Scholarship Rigor Requirements


In short, Rigor requirements have been added to the HOPE legislation by the Georgia Department of Education. To qualify for HOPE starting with the graduating class of 2015, students have to receive credit in certain courses that meet the criteria for Rigor, in addition to meeting the HOPE 3.0 GPA
graduating in 2015 ­- 2 courses, graduating in 2016 ­ - 3 courses, graduating in 2017 ­ - 4 courses.

The following courses meet the Rigor requirements.
● Pre­Calculus, Calculus, Advanced Algebra, Statistics
● Biology II, Anatomy/Physiology, Chemistry, Physics
● Foreign Language II, III, and IV (Spanish, French, etc)
● Any dual enrollment course
